Super Bowl ads: Hits & misses
Rochester, N.Y. -- A 30-second commercial at this year's Super Bowl cost about $4 million, but that didn't mean every ad was a hit
Mike Schawbl of Dixon Schwabl said that, while some of this years ads were produced and thought-out well, many of them fell flat.
Schwabl praised locally produced ads for the University of Rochester, which he said captured audiences with emotion.
As for the flops, Schwabl said that the spots for Doritos were cute, but predictable. He also said a Budweiser ad featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger fell flat despite a lot of hype.
