Survey: Walmart worst customer satisfaction
Ann Arbor, Mich. -- According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index, customer satisfaction with retailers in the United States is at an all-time high, up for the third year in a row.
But, a new survey shows not all retailers are scoring high marks with customers.
247wallst.com examined companies with the worst customer satisfaction scores in retail.
Winn-Dixie supermarket chain ranked at No. 10 for weak customer service.
In ninth place, Supervalu showed low employee performance marks for a fourth year in a row.
At No. 8 is The Gap, followed by Best Buy in seventh place and Safeway ranked sixth, after employees voiced displeasure with management.
The top five retailers scoring low marks for customer satisfaction are Macy's, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid and Walmart.
According to the survey, not only did Walmart have the lowest score of any department or discount store, but it also scored low as a supermarket.
