Henrietta addresses casino concerns

Henrietta, N.Y. -- Residents packed a town board meeting Wednesday night to discuss Henriettas controversial casino proposal.

Many of them asked town leaders to shoot down the idea. More than 1,000 petitions were submitted to board members expressing concerns about a potential casino.

A small minority of people supported the idea. Supervisor Jack Moore said hes open to both sides and wants to weigh all the facts before he and the board make a decision, but added he still doesnt have an actual proposal from the Seneca Nation of Indians.

"The next step is the Senecas need to have a proposal that we have something to discuss, Moore said. Right now we have nothing to discuss. All we have is a group here that's says they don't want a casino. Well, what's the other side of that?"
