MCC to take advantage of Cuomo’s 'Start-Up' Initiative
Brighton, N.Y. -- Monroe Community College will be one of the colleges taking advantage Gov. Andrew Cuomos plan to offer tax exemptions for setting up shop on campus.
Called Start-Up New York, the program meant to attract new businesses was approved by the Legislature last June.
Cuomos initiative will give approved companies which locate within a one-mile radius of certain campuses tax breaks for ten years.
