Missing flight might not be an accident

Washington -- United States investigators are now saying it is possible the disappearance of a Malaysian Air Flight was not an accident.

They said two communications systems onboard were shut down separately. Consultants said that suggests deliberate actions rather than a catastrophic failure.

The search is now shifting to the edge of the Indian Ocean, where the flight may have crashed. The area now covers more than 27,000 nautical square miles, spanning the distance greater than Chicago to Atlanta.
