Four arrested for drugs, rape, animal abuse

Gaines, N.Y. -- Police said four people were arrested in Orleans County after a six-month investigation into alleged drug use, rape and animal abuse.

The Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task force was led to a residence on Lattin Road this week following reports of underage parties which involved alcohol, drug use and sex.

Police arrested Lee Q. Tisdale, 43, of Albion, and charged him with several counts of possession and sale of control substances and one count of rape.

Devon Robinson, 20, of Rochester, was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, sexual misconduct and one count of rape.

Laura J. Campbell, 40, of Rochester, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and a criminal sex act.

Jennifer L. Davila, 24, of Lattin Road in Albion, was charged with possession of controlled substances, including marijuana, and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to a statement from Orleans County, the rape charges stem from Tisdale, Robinson and Campbell allegedly having sexual contact or intercourse with a another person younger than 17.

In addition, police said four injured pit bulls were removed from the scene and taken to the vet by Orleans County Animal Control and treated for abuse, injuries and neglect.

The residence was condemned by the Town of Gaines.

The investigation is still ongoing, and further charges and arrests are pending.

They're asking anyone with information to contact Orleans County Federal Task Force at (585) 590-4155.
