Roc Mass Mob spotlights hidden gems

Some might have missed church Sunday because of the clocks springing forward an hour.

But attendance actually doubled at one local church - and it didn't have anything to do with the time.

It had to do with Chris Clemens and Luke Myer.

The duo brought in droves to First Universalist Church on South Clinton Avenue.

Their mission? To enlighten Rochesterians to the area's religious diversity and history.

That includes tours of many churches, which double as architectural *marvels.

"I think there are a lot of people who live in the Greater Rochester area outside the city propper who aren't really familiar with all the great things happening in the city and maybe not be aware of how really wonderful and beautiful some of the religious landmarks are," said Clemens.

Myer and Clemens call these gatherings Roc Mass Mobs.
