UPDATED: Pittsford bank robber arrested in Erie County

Depew, N.Y. -- A Greece man arrested in connection to a bank robbery in Pittsford is also wanted for two additional robberies in Erie County.

The Depew Police Department said Joseph Cumbo, 34, was charged on three counts of robbery, including banks in Depew and Cheektowaga.

The Monroe County Sheriffs Office said Cumbo demanded cash from a teller at the Bank of America on North Main Street in Pittsford Jan. 9. Deputies said he threatened that he had a gun.

At the time of the robbery, Cumbo was wearing a blonde wig and aviator sunglasses.

Cumbo is being charged with robbery and grand larceny. He is being held at the Monroe County Jail.
