Gun found in raid linked to triple homicide

Rochester, N.Y. -- Authorities believe one of the weapons discovered during a raid at a home on Clifford Avenue Friday night is tied to a triple homicide on Chili Avenue last week.

According to court papers, state police and Rochester police searched 2167 Clifford Ave. and discovered more than 80 pounds of marijuana and a loaded 9 mm handgun in the living room.

Andre Christopher McFarlane, 34; Marlando Anthony Allen, 34; Steve Fulcott, 21; Ronald Jefferson, 46; Carlos White, 38; and Jessica Leonard, 25, are charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the second degree. McFarlane, Allen, Fulcott, White & Leonard are also charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.

White and Leonard are also facing a charge of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree. According to court papers, a loaded weapon was discovered under Whites mattress.

Authorities believe one of the weapons found is linked to last weeks homicide. Police found the bodies of Jermeliah and Jacquelyn Simmons, and Michael Nelson in an apartment on Chili Avenue last Monday.
