Driver arrested after almost hitting NYS Police

Batavia, NY - NY State Troopers had a close call with a driver who they say had been drinking.

Troopers in Batavia were traveling on Route 5 in the town when a car suddenly changed lanes, crossed over the center lane markers and started heading directly toward the troopers' car.

The troopers swerved, then stopped the other car. Authorities determined that the driver, Joshua Clark, 37, of Le Roy, was intoxicated and placed under arrest.

He recorded a BAC level of .13% at police headquarters.

Clark was issued several tickets, including failing to keep right and DWI.
