Man shot near bar found after crash

Rochester, N.Y. - One person was injured following an early morning shooting outside a downtown bar.

Rochester police said officers were dispatched to the report of shots fired outside the Captain's Attic on Charlotte Street around 2 a.m.

Upon arriving, officers saw a minivan and a second car speeding away from the scene.

The minivan was later found on North Street, where it had crashed into a building.

Further investigation revealed the minivan had been transporting a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound to a lower extremity.

The investigation is ongoing. The victim's wound is not considered life-threatening.
