Shortsville man and woman face felony animal cruelty charges

Shortsville, N.Y. -- A man and a woman from Ontario County are facing felony animal cruelty charges after an emaciated dog was found in their home.

According to the Ontario County Humane Society, Shawn Fenner, 41, and Kymmberlie Fullagar, 42, have been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.

The Ontario County Humane Society and Ontario County sheriff's investigators found a 9-year-old Doberman named Isis being kept in a metal crate in a child's bedroom.

According to the Humane Society, the dog was emaciated and in need of veterinarian care.

She is currently receiving treatment and has been seized by the Humane Society.
