Two arrested for drugs with infant in car

Seneca, N.Y. -- A Lyons woman was arrested under Leandra's Law after police said she had been driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana while her 11-month-old child was in the backseat.

Ontario County sheriff's deputies said Katherine Madden, 23, failed a series of sobriety tests after getting pulled over on Sutton Road in Seneca. She's charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and felony DWI.

David Bender, 29, also of Lyons was in the car. Deputies said he was smoking marijuana along with Madden. Both are charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
