Bills postpone Toronto game for 2014
Orchard Park, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills are not planning on playing one of their allotted home games in Toronto during the 2014 NFL season.
The Bills announced Wednesday morning they have postponed the Toronto series for one year, meaning all eight home games this season will be played at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
The team had been playing one regular-season game per year at the Rogers Centre since 2008 and still had four years left on its contract there.
Each of the games in Toronto had been marked by low attendance and fan interest. The Bills went 1-5 in those games.
The Bills and Rogers Media issued a joint statement Wednesday saying they will use this year to "collectively evaluate opportunities and build on the foundation to enhance future games."
