Churchville-Chili board names new superintendent

Churchville, N.Y. -- The Churchville-Chili school board has selected Loretta J. Orologio as the district's next superintendent.

A formal appointment will be made at the next board meeting April 8.

Orologio would replace Dr. Pamela Kissel when she retires at the end of the current school year.

Orologio is currently the district's assistant superintendent for instruction, a position she's held since 2005.

Prior to that, she was a principal in the Greece Central School District and an elementary principal in the Attica Central School District.

She lives in Ogden with her three children, who attend Churchville-Chili Middle School.
