Public to discuss East High's future

Rochester, N.Y. -- The public will get a chance to weigh in on the future of East High School Thursday.

State education leaders said last month the school must either close, phase out, convert to a charter school, or let a SUNY school provide assistance. The state education department said the school has not met achievement standards.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the East High School auditorium on East Main Street.
