Livonia man arrested for DWI after hitting multiple vehicles

Avon, N.Y. - A Livoia man was arrested Monday faces multiple charges after driving while intoxicated and hitting several vehicles on the I-390.

According to the Livingston County Sheriffs Office, the 911 center received many phone calls regarding an SUV driving recklessly and striking multiple vehicles in Monroe and Livingston Counties before exiting in the Town of Avon at exit 10.

The driver of the SUV, 28-year-old Matthew Waden, rear-ended another vehicle in the Town of Livonia before being stopped by a sheriffs deputy.

Investigators said Wadens blood alcohol content was .16, or twice the legal limit. He faces multiple charges invlucing DWI, unsafe passing, reckless driving and marijuana possession.

The suspect is currently in Livingston County jail.
