More girls come forward against accused rapist

Avon, N.Y. - An Avon man facing sexual assault and rape charges against a child was back in court Thursday.

Larry Tuttle, 46, is accused of sexually assaulting and raping an 11-year-old girl over several years.

Tuttle was arrested in November and has been in jail since.

13WHAM spoke with the girl's father who remaining anonymous. He said Tuttle should not be allowed back on the streets.

"It tore a lot of things apart... trust mainly for her," said the girl's father. "She trusted him, and the other girls that have come forward have trusted him, and it's just been hard on everybody."

Investigators told the victim's family that more girls have come forward.

Lawyers adjourned the case to May while the investigation continues.
