Balloons released for missing teen

Rochester, N.Y. -- Family and friends Brittanee Drexel, the 17-year-old Chili teen who went missing in Myrtle Beach five years ago, gathered near Lake Ontario on Saturday to light candles and release balloons to keep hope alive as the investigation into her disappearance continues.

"It's heartbreaking," said Chad Drexel, Brittanee's father. "There's some new leads, no ideas, new tips coming in."

Drexel said he's holding out hope that his daughter may still be found alive.

"Brittanee would want us to never stop," he said, referring to the ongoing investigation. "We're never going to give up hope looking for her."

Drexel added that investigators tell him new leads keep the investigation going.
