Democrats to announce Assembly candidate

Irondequoit, N.Y. - The Monroe County Democratic Committee will announced the party's candidate for the vacant 134th Assembly seat.

Chairman Joe Morelle is holding a news conference Friday morning at the committee's headquarters.

The seat has been vacant since Republican Bill Reilich resigned to run for Greece Town Supervisor, a race he won.

The district includes Greece, Hilton and Spencerport. The Republican Party has not put forth a candidate yet.
