Two DWI arrests early Saturday

Geneseo, N.Y. - Livingston County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Greece couple for DWI, each arrest happening within a few hours of each other.

Deputies said that the first arrest occurred in the Town of Livonia. Erik Hasler, 30, of Greece was taken into custody after allegedly refusing to tale a chemical test. He was remanded to Livingston County Jail.

Shortly thereafter, deputies arrested 30-year-old Leigh Hasler of Greece.

Deputies said that they received a call early Saturday from a woman asking how to bail someone out of jail. The corporal who took the call suspected that the caller was intoxicated.

Shortly before 6:00 a.m., a vehicle entered the Livingston County Jail parking lot. Deputies said that the driver, Ms. Hasler, appeared to stumble out of the vehicle. After investigating, deputies arrested Hasler for DWI.

Hasler was issued tickets and released to a sober driver.
