Police search for driver who caused fatal crash

Rochester, N.Y. -- Police continue to look for the driver of a vehicle they said cut into oncoming traffic Tuesday, causing a fatal crash involving an RTS bus.

Police said the car made a left turn onto Jefferson Avenue at West Main Street, causing another car to swerve and hit the bus around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver of the car that hit the bus died. Police have not yet identified the man, but family members said the car belongs to Terrance Frye, a father of four from Rochester who didnt show up to work at the Strong National Museum of Play Tuesday.

Investigators are still looking for a description of the vehicle that caused the crash. Theyve asked anyone who may have witnessed it to call CrimeStoppers at 423-9300.
