Local family impacted by shootings

Rochester, N.Y. - This is the week of Passover and the significance of that Jewish holiday is not lost on Judy Hull whose sister lives in the community where these shootings took place.

"I was thinking about it today and I just don't understand how somebody could have so much hate for someone just because they're different from them, just because their skin color is different or their faith is different."

Judy Hull was scrambling to contact her sister this weekend when she first learned of these shootings.

Federal officials say suspect Frazier Glenn Cross killed a boy and his grandfather at a Jewish Community Center before driving a mile to a Jewish Assisted Living Center and killing a woman who was there to visit her mother.

Hulls sister Carol Pfau works at that Jewish community center.

Her teenage son Justin was set to attend a spring formal dance at that JCC hours after the shooting.

Justin Pfau said he knows a group of girls who were in lockdown at that JCC campus for three hours.

He and his classmates are organizing a memorial walk that stretches from one shooting scene to the other.
