Cyclist hurt in crash improving

Rochester, N.Y. - A motorcyclist hurt in a crash that shut down traffic in Penfield Thursday is improving.

Monroe County Sheriff's deputies said that motorcyclist Brian Dominiak was hurt around 7:00 p.m. when a driver on Creek Street in Penfield turned into his path.

Dominiak was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he is listed in satisfactory condition.

Deputies ticketed the driver of the car, Svetlana Mitris of Webster, for failing to yield the right of way.
