Police release bank robbery suspect's name, new picture

Rochester, N.Y. - Rochester police have released the name of the suspect who they said robbed a bank Tuesday afternoon.

Police need help in tracking down Thomas Viconte, 57, featured in the photos above and below.

Visconte is heavyset, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with short grey hair and a mustache.

He was wearing a marron sweatshirt, maroon pants, a Buffalo Bills hat and black rimmed sunglasses at the time of the robbery.

Police said Visconte entered Chase Bank at 520 Portland Avenue shortly after 1 p.m.

He handed the bank teller a note, threatening that he had a gun.

The suspect fled the scene with an unknown amount of money.
