Two injured in motorcycle crash

Phelps, N.Y. -- A Seneca County man was hospitalized with a possible head injury after crashing his motorcycle Sunday night.

Ontario County sheriffs deputies said Kyle Reynolds, 45, of Romulus, lost control of his motorcycle on Skuse Road in Phelps around 7 p.m. Sunday.

Reynolds and his passenger, Cheynne Howe, 18, were both thrown from the bike.

Howe was being treated for road rash. Reynolds was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital with a possible head injury.

Police said Reynolds got too close to the edge of the roadway and overcorrected, causing the crash. Both were wearing helmets. Reynolds was not ticketed.
