More crashes connected to ignition switch problem

Detroit -- More accidents are being linked to faulty ignitions in General Motors vehicles.

A spokesman for GM said the number of frontal-impact crashes tied to the problem is 47, up from 32.

GM saidthe number of deaths related to the ignition problem hasn't changed, but NTSB leaders said that the number is higher than 13.

There have been 2.6 million cars recalled worldwide due to the ignition switch issue.
