Zip across High Falls

Rochester, N.Y. - A non-profit group wants to add a zip line across Rochester's High Falls.

Garden Aerial's "double race" zip line is included in plans to recreate the trails and area around High Falls.

It would zip riders across the falls, so close they could feel the mist of the water.

"If you build it they will come, so they say," says D.J. Flanigan who is visiting from Virginia Beach. "I think it's a good idea. It's a beautiful area."

The proposal would require approval from both the city and RG&E which owns the property where riders would land.

If approved, they hope to start the zip line next year.
