Killer in 2010 triple murder gets sentence

Greece, N.Y.- One of the men convicted in a triple homicide in Greece will serve four consecutive life terms in prison.

44-year-old Andrew Wright of Jamaica was sentenced Friday for the 2010 crime.

A jury convicted Wright, along with Richard Anderson and Aston Johnson for their roles in murdering Robert Moncriffe, Mark Wisdom and Christopher Green.

The murders were part of a marijuana drug deal gone wrong.

Anderson and Johnson were sentenced to life in prison in March.

Todays sentencing brings to a successful conclusion a very violent and tragic episode in our community, said U.S. Attorney William Hochul in a statement. These defendants will never again inflict further violence on the residents of Western New York. This case is also a great example of the cooperative efforts of our Office working closely with our law enforcement partners at all levels. We will continue to pursue members of other violent criminal organizations with the same vigor until such gangs are no more.
