UPDATE: Large fire in East Rochester

East Rochester, N.Y. -- Multiple fire crews responded to a large fire in East Rochester Monday evening.

The fire started around 5:45 p.m. at Despatch Junction, a store that sold collectible toy trains.

The shop was closed for the holiday and no one was inside at the time of the fire.

Firefighters said the building is a total loss. They have not been able to determine the cause of the fire, but say they are not considering it suspicious at this time.

About 80 firefighters, from six different departments, responded.

Despatch Junction was the oldest building in East Rochester.
