R-H JV cheerleaders win national competition

Providence, R.I. -- A local cheerleading squad won big at a national event this weekend.

The Rush-Henrietta High School junior varsity team won its division at the U.S. Finals in Providence, Rhode Island. The event featured teams from across the Northeast.

The team, coached by Kim and Amanda Spuck, earned the right to go to the competition by winning a qualifying event in Buffalo in March.
