CDC releases new anti-smoking campaign

The CDC has released their latest set of graphic ads which encourage smokers to quit for good.

The ad campaign is called "Tips From Former Smokers".

The new campaign brings back Terrie Hall, a North Carolina woman who lost her larynx from throat and oral cancer.

"My tip to you is - don't start smoking and if you do - quit," said Hall from her hospital bed just days before she passed away at age 53.

The CDC says the ads are tough to watch, but they are effective.
