Woman sues psychiatrist accused of burying her son in his backyard

A Rochester psychiatrist, accused of burying a man in his backyard, is being sued by the mother of the deceased.

Matthew Stratons body was found in January partially buried in the backyard of Dr. William Leweks home.

Lewek is accused of moving Stratons body from the third floor of his Rowley Street home in October of last year.

Kym Straton filed a lawsuit in late May, suing for emotional distress.

The lawsuit alleges Lewek provided illegal drugs to Straton causing his death, then buried his body.

The lawsuit alleges there was a doctor/patient relationship between Matthew Straton and Lewek.

Straton sought counseling for drug addiction.

Many of Leweks patients were battling substance abuse.

The suit does not seek a specific amount of damages.

Lewek is facing two criminal charges: tampering with evidence and possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities have yet to determine Matthew Straton's cause of death.
