Firefighter injured in hit-and-run crash
Rochester, N.Y. -- A Rochester firefighter has been released from Strong Memorial Hospital after a hit-and-run crash on the city's south side Monday night.
Sean Belantic, 41, suffered a deep leg bruise after he was hit by a vehicle Monday night on Linden Street.
Belantic responded to a smoke alarm call and was removing equipment from the back of a fire truck when he was hit.
Police said the small, silver, four-door vehicle fled the scene heading west.
The incident is under investigation.
