Drivers describe 390 incidents as scary

Chuck Stewart said this is happening too close to home. He was nearby when the latest incident happened Friday afternoon on Route 390 South near the Lyell Avenue exit. He worries about the safety of drivers on the expressway and especially those like him, that often have their grandchildren in the car with them.

Michael Downs, and his son Caden, heard the helicopters searching the woods after the pickup truck was hit by an object on 390. Dozens of police officers were involved in that search both by air and on the ground. K-9 dogs searched the woods adjacent to the expressway.

This driver wasnt hurt and neither were the 11 others whose windows were shattered in similar circumstances on area highways. Police say they want this stopped before someone gets hurt. They tell us they have very good leads and hope to solve this case.

They are asking for continued help from the public to report anything suspicious on area expressways.
