Gillibrand to push for women's education

Rochester, N.Y. (AP) -- Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is continuing her push to encourage more young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Gillibrand said she will outline her plan for so-called STEM jobs Monday at the Rochester STEM High School on Colfax Street, along with Mayor Lovely Warren and other local leaders.

The senator said she will push for federal measures to help bring more STEM-related programs.
