Mascot signs surprise to deaf boy
Dayton, Ohio -- A family in Ohio says their visit to a minor league baseball game is something they'll never forget.
The parents took their 7-year-old son Hunter to a Dayton Dragons home game recently.
Hunter, who is deaf, was very excited to see the team mascot and signed hello to him.
The surprise -- the mascot started signing back.
It turns out the man inside the costume was a sign language interpreter moonlighting as the team mascot.
Hunter has cochlear implants but doesn't speak, so the family says they were incredibly surprised.
