Link between high dose statins and diabetes

People who are on strong doses of statins, the cholesterol-lowering drug, may be more likely to develop Diabetes, according to researchers.

These findings do not mean that people should stop taking statins, but they do raise the question whether some people should be on lower doses.

A CDC report shows that 29 million Americans now have Diabetes.
