Local soldier returns home

Allegany, N.Y. A local soldier injured in the Fort Hood shooting in April returned home, Friday.

Major Patrick Miller was greeted in Alleghany by friends and family.

Major Miller has been recovering after being shot in the stomach. He was among 16 people who were injured in the shooting.

Despite his injuries, Major Miller is credited for keeping other soldiers safe during the incident.
