Victor school in lockdown Thursday morning

Victor, NY -

A school in Victor went into voluntary lockdown Thursday morning because of issues with a student.

The Ontario County Sheriff's office said this was a precautionary measure because they had "concerns" about the student.

There were no weapons involved.

Other schools in the district were in lock out.

The student is currently being held with faculty and police.

The schools have resumed normal activities.

The school district sent 13WHAM this statement:

"This morning the Junior/Senior High School was placed in lock down as a precaution because of a disruptive student. As part of our safety plan, all other school buildings were placed in lock out. The situation was resolved. All students and staff members are safe and classes will continue as usual."
