Mercury levels in fish

The FDA is recommending that pregnant women eat at least 12 ounces of seafood a week because of its nutritional value.

Pregnant women should still stay away from fish that are high in mercury, including albacore tuna, swordfish and king mackerel.

Some of the seafood recommended by the FDA includes shrimp, salmon, tilapia and cod.
