Two more driver window's struck on roadways

Greece, NY -  Police are investigating two incidents of windows being struck Thursday.

Police say another window has been shattered on a vehicle driven on Interstate 390. 

This time it happened near Maiden Lane in Greece.

There was also an incident on 490 East Bound near Gates Chili High School.

There have been at least 12 incidents since mid-April.

Greece Police and NYS Police are investigating these latest incidents.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to catch the person responsible for smashing windows on moving vehicles.

Monroe County Sheriff's Cpl. John Helfer said some of the vehicles were shot at with a BB gun.

Helfer says it is also possible someone is throwing objects off highway or railway overpasses.

The person or persons responsible for these incidents could face a wide range of possible criminal charges if captured.

Both carry significant state prison sentences topping out at twenty-five years.

Each incident that can be linked to the suspect or suspects can be charged separately meaning consecutive prison terms for each crime.
