WWII veterans return from Normandy

Rochester, N.Y. - Three local World War II veterans are back in Rochester Friday after venturing overseas in Normandy.

The group left May 30 to help mark the 70th anniversary of the D-Day invasion.

The veterans got the chance to meet President Obama on Omaha Beach last Friday as part of the ceremonies.

They returned just after 3:00 a.m. Friday and said that the trip was one of a lifetime.

The group went on that trip courtesy of the Greatest Generation Foundation.
