Arrest made following house fire

Mt. Morris A Perry man is faces several charges, including arson, after deputies said he started a fire in a Mt. Morris home.

Brandon Rosa, 22, was also treated and released from Strong Memorial Hospital.

The 911 call center received a call about the Parker Road fire around 3:30 am Friday.

Not long after arriving on scene, crews located and arrested Rosa, based on information that neighbors gave to responding officers.

After crews got the fire under control, a significant amount of vandalism was done inside the home. As for fire damage, the garage was a total loss, according to deputies.

Rosa faces the following charges: Arson in the third degree, Burglary in the second degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd and Reckless Endangerment 1st.
