Webster teen makes it on 'SYTYCD'

Webster, N.Y. - Teddy Coffey, 19, is walking on sunshine - or dancing on it, more likely.

The teen qualified for the second round of auditions on the reality television program 'So You Think You Can Dance.'

Coffey has been dancing since he was 8 years old and said the music is what first drew him to it.

After auditioning in the first round in New Orleans, Coffey said all of his hard work has paid off.

"My weekend was amazing," Coffey said. "Just seeing the incredible dancers down there, in front of the judges, doing what you do...doing what I love to do."

Coffey is on his way to compete in Hollywood, where judges will select 20 finalists.

'So You Think You Can Dance' airs Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. on Fox Rochester.
