Guilty verdict for 'First 48' murder suspect

Rochester, N.Y. - Two mothers shared a hug outside of the Hall of Justice in Rochester Wednesday.

One was the mother of a murder victim - the other was the mother of the man convicted of killing him.

Jeffrey Blunt was found guilty of murder Wednesday in the death of 37-year-old William Klick in 2012.

Klick's murder was the focus of an episode of the A&E network crime show "The First 48."

Katherine Makoroff, Klick's ex-girlfriend, already pleaded guilty to the murder.

Makoroff testified in court that she and Blunt set up Klick.

After Blunt was found guilty, Blunt's mother hugged Marianne Klick, telling her she was sorry and that both mothers had lost their sons.

Blunt faces 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced in September.

Makaroff is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday.
