Caught on camera: Rare watch swiped

Brighton, N.Y. - Someone could be walking around Rochester with a rare $17,000 watch on their wrist.

A pawn shop targeted in a violent robbery a few years ago has been hit again.

The latest crime at Gold 4 Cash on West Henrietta Road was also captured on surveillance cameras, which the company tripled since the 2011 crime.

The video shows the suspects allegedly trying on the watch and walking off with it.

They posed as a family, including a teenager, with the wife distracting the clerk while the husband trying the watch on, according to police.

The Bedat watch, a Swiss timepiece, is one of only eight made in the world.

Police hope someone will recognize the victims' pictures and they will be caught, which is what happened the last time at the store.

In June of 2011. four gunmen burst through the doors threatening the owner and his partner with a gun, then hitting them and tying them up.

The four are serving prison sentences, one was just released.

Store managers are still recovering from that violent robbery and the death of the store owner in a car crash last year.
