Rochester, N.Y. - Next week marks the 50th anniversary since the Race Riots in Rochester.

Thursday, Verdis Robinson, a History and Afro-American Studies instructor at Monroe Community College hosted a walking town on Joseph Avenue.

Every time we go somewhere, someone has a new story or perspective, like one guy said that it wasnt really about the business owners as much as it was about trying to get back at the authority figures who, at the time, was the police officers. So I never knew that, says Ebony McLarty
