Rochester, N.Y. - A 14-month, $3.3 million renovation project at Highland Hospital is in the books.

The makeover of its Radiation Oncology unit has been completely refurbished with technology investments aimed at enhancing care and bringing more treatment options to patients.

The hospital is now the first in the area to offer specialized high-dose rate prostate Brachytherapy, which dramatically cuts cancer patients' treatment times.

"We are here for our patients, thats what we do, and we are happy to be able to provide the compassionate and high quality care for everybody coming through our unit," said Hong Zhang, Chief of Radiation Oncology at Highland Hospital.
