Hoffman remembered at NYC premiere
New York City - Philip Seymour Hoffman's fellow cast members from one of his last films, "A Most Wanted Man," reflected on his memory at the films premiere in New York.
The Fairport native died earlier this year of an apparent heroin overdose.
Rachel McAdams and Robin Wright starred with him in the psychological thriller, based on the novel by John Le Carre.
"It was an incredible experience," McAdams said about working with him. "He's a very generous and giving actor. I learned a lot just from watching him work. I think he's one of the greatest actors that's ever lived, so it's a real loss to the world, obviously."
"A Most Wanted Man," opens in Rochester theaters Thursday night.
Wednesday would have been his 47th birthday.
